In a July 19, 2004, press release, Secretary of State Trey Grayson announced the launch of a new online service allowing researchers to access portions of Governor Ernie Fletcher's Executive Journal online. Under provisions of Section 91 of the Kentucky Constitution, the Secretary of State is required to keep a Register of the official Acts of the Governor. The online portion of the Executive Journal contains entries of official Acts of the Governor including Appointments, Proclamations, and Reorganizations; the site is updated as filings are received.
