The Name Availability Search allows customers to check on the availability of a business entity name by comparing
against the records currently on file with the Office of the Secretary of State.
Please note:The Office of the Secretary of State files business entity names on a first come first serve basis.
There is no guarantee that a name searched with the Name Availability Search tool will be available at the point of filing with our office.
